Baseball Recap: Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg Find Success

Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg came out on top against Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run first inning. Kendall Morris was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ben Bridges, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with two runs.

The victory made it two in a row for Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg and bumps their season record up to 13-3. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6 runs in those games. As for Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-13.
