After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Rossville, Tipton was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They blew past the Tri-Central Trojans 3-0. That's more bragging rights for the Blue Devils, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Tipton was: they took every set by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-8, 25-12.

Trynadee Tilley paced Tipton's offense, picking up nine kills. Tilley got some help from Bella Henderson and her 13 assists. Henderson also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Addy Chessir, each putting up three.

Tipton moved to 10-15 with that victory, which also ended their three-match losing streak. As for Tri-Central, they are on a 20-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-23.

Tipton and Tri-Central could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings. The Blue Devils will challenge Maconaquah at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank disadvantage (290 vs. 124). Meanwhile, Tri-Central (ranked 427th) will meet Sheridan (ranked 199th) at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
