Softball Recap: Auburn Gets the Win

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Auburn ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They walked away with a 15-11 win over Maroa-Forsyth. Auburn hasn't had any issues with Maroa-Forsyth recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Auburn let Skylar Meats and Madison Hackett run wild. Meats went 3-for-5 with four RBI, two doubles, and one run, while Hackett went 3-for-5 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. That's the most hits Meats has posted over her last ten games. Another player making a difference was Addi Jones, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs.
