Cosby is 8-2 against Clover Hill since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Cosby Titans will host the Clover Hill Cavaliers at 7:30 p.m. The two teams are out to turn their luck around after having lost tight contests in their previous games.

Cosby easily dispatched Powhatan on Friday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. Cosby fell just short of Thomas Dale by a score of 64-61 on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Titans have suffered since February 16, 2024.

Meanwhile, Clover Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 61-59 heartbreaker at the hands of Monacan. While losing is never fun, the Cavaliers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 264th, while the Chiefs are ranked 31st).

Clover Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Cosby, they now have a losing record at 5-6.

Cosby was able to grind out a solid win over Clover Hill when the teams last played back in December of 2024, winning 58-49. Will Cosby repeat their success, or does Clover Hill have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
