Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Nyssa). They breezed by the McLoughlin Pioneers to the tune of 56-21 on Saturday. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Pioneers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Nyssa's victory bumped their record up to 10-13. As for McLoughlin, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-17.

Nyssa and McLoughlin could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Oregon Rankings. Nyssa will square off against Vale at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday down 122 places (133 vs. 11). Nyssa is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home. Meanwhile, McLoughlin (ranked 220th) will meet Burns (ranked 55th) at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
