Mojave and Lone Pine are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2019, but likely not for long. The Mustangs will head out to square off against the Eagles at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Mojave has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the contest with eight straight losses, while Lone Pine will come in with three straight victories.

Mojave played against Lee Vining on Saturday and lost via forfeit.

Two weeks ago, Lone Pine made easy work of Desert and carried off a 22-6 win. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by nine runs or more this season.

Lone Pine got a massive performance out of Allisson Villa, who got on base in four of her six plate appearances with one home run and four runs. Athena Guerra was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one home run and three runs.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Lone Pine lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Mojave's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Lone Pine, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2.

Everything went Mojave's way against Lone Pine in their previous matchup back in May of 2025, as Mojave made off with a 17-9 win. Will the Mustangs repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
