Football Recap: Panther Creek Falls Short of Millbrook in the Playoffs + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Panther Creek can now relate to. They were beaten by the Millbrook Wildcats 65-0 on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Catamounts can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 104th, while the Wildcats are ranked 12th).

Santonis Wright was a one-man wrecking crew For Millbrook. as he rushed for 111 yards and three scores on only 12 carries. Those three rushing touchdowns gave Wright a new career-high. Bryson Gray was another key player, throwing for 206 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes.

Panther Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Millbrook, the win keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.
