Volleyball Recap: Riverwood Raiders vs. Chamblee Bulldogs
Riverwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chamblee Bulldogs. The Raiders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2023.
The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Chamblee scored at least 19 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-20.
Riverwood's defeat dropped their record down to 9-18. As for Chamblee, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 28-11.
Riverwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Chamblee, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against North Springs on the 3rd.
