Basketball Recap: Gilpin County Takes a Loss

Gilpin County played a tough game on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against the Conifer Lobos, falling 54-9. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-8.

Gilpin County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Conifer, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Gilpin County will welcome Nederland at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Conifer, they have already played their next contest, a 52-7 win against South Park on the 6th.
