Basketball Game Preview: Rosewood Eagles vs. North Duplin Rebels

The Rosewood Eagles will head out on the road to challenge the North Duplin Rebels at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.

On Friday, Rosewood came up short against Neuse Charter and fell 55-44. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for North Duplin, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Union 71-42. That 29 point margin sets a new team best for the Rebels this season.

North Duplin has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-10 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.8 points over those games. As for Rosewood, their loss dropped their record down to 6-11.

Rosewood beat North Duplin 63-54 when the teams last played back in December of 2024. Will Rosewood repeat their success, or does North Duplin have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
