Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask South Effingham). They skirted past the Swainsboro Tigers 78-75.

South Effingham's win on Friday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kaleb Griffin, who went 8 for 12 on his way to 18 points and six rebounds. Chase Seyler was another key player, going 5 of 7 on his way to 12 points and five boards.

South Effingham smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in seven consecutive matchups.

South Effingham's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-8. As for Swainsboro, they dropped their record down to 2-4 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

South Effingham wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, an 80-69 defeat against Bryan County on the 21st. As for Swainsboro, they will take on Bulloch Academy in a tournament on December 28th.
