Volleyball Recap: Gatewood Takes a Loss

Gatewood lost against Piedmont Academy back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Gators lost 3-0 to the Cougars. The Gators have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Gatewood was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-20, 25-15.

Gatewood's record is now 5-8. As for Piedmont Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 10-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Gatewood will take on Westminster Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Piedmont Academy, they will face off against Eagle's Landing at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
