Baseball Recap: Apollo Ridge Takes a Loss

Apollo Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 7-2 to the South Side Rams. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-9 last Monday.

Apollo Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for South Side, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Apollo Ridge will face off against Springdale at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. Apollo Ridge's pitchers better be ready for this one: Springdale has averaged an impressive 9.2 runs per game this season. As for South Side, they will venture away from home to take on Central Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
