Tyus Miller Delivers Best Performance of Season
On Friday, Clovis East got the W thanks in part to Tyus Miller playing the best football he has all season. Miller wasn't messing around, throwing for 240 yards and three touchdowns while completing 84.2% of his passes, and also rushing for 121 yards on only eight carries. The game was his fourth straight with three or more passing touchdowns dating back to last season.
If the past is any indication, Miller could be in store for another big game when he takes on Central on Friday. Miller threw for 441 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 12.6 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 100 yards on only 12 carries the last time he and the Grizzlies duked it out back in October of 2023.

Jackson Cinfel put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in November of 2023 on Friday. He rushed for 169 yards and two touchdowns. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (102.6).
For the season, Cinfel has run in 4 touchdowns while averaging 102.6 rushing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 6.8 receiving yards per game. This year he is averaging 14.6 receiving yards.

For the year, Nelson has averaged 6 total tackles per game and for the season has 5 sacks.

Rose Came Up Big in Clovis' 37-10 Win
Clovis picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Deagan Rose. Rose was unstoppable, throwing for 267 yards and four touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes.
Buchanan had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Rose it was a similar story. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Rose saw the Bears), he threw for 217 yards and two touchdowns while completing 72.2% of his passes, and also rushed for 66 yards.
