Basketball Recap: Standing Rock Takes a Loss

Standing Rock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 26th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Trinity Titans, falling 79-49. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 147th, while the Titans are ranked 45th).

Standing Rock's loss dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Trinity, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a massive bump to their 9-8 record this season.

Standing Rock is taking a road trip to challenge Watford City at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Trinity, they will host Shiloh Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
