Basketball Recap: South Bend Adams Falls Despite Big Games from Lemonz Jones and Drew Dixon

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact South Bend Adams can now relate to. They took a 70-54 bruising from the South Bend Riley Wildcats on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 122nd, while the Wildcats are ranked 23rd).

Jones is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last seven games he's played. Michael Georgia also deserves some recognition as he pulled down his first board of the season.

South Bend Adams' loss dropped their record down to 13-11. As for South Bend Riley, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-4 record this season.
