Baseball Recap: Loveland Comes Up Short

Loveland managed to slip by Fort Collins the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Red Wolves came up short against the Lambkins on Wednesday, falling 13-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Red Wolves have suffered against the Lambkins since April 21, 2016.

Loveland saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Karter Butler, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Loveland dropped their record down to 5-11 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Fort Collins, their record is now 6-8.

Looking ahead, Loveland will host Thompson Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Fort Collins, they will head out to face off against Prairie View at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
