Chancellor hadn't beaten James Monroe on the road since October 19, 2021 but that history sure didn't bother them on Thursday. The Chargers blew past the Yellow Jackets 3-0. For the Chargers, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 win the Yellow Jackets walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

One reason for the win was Chancellor's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-16, 25-15.

Bree Smith paced Chancellor's offense, picking up ten kills. Smith got some help from Aiden Jolly and her 15 assists. Keely Kwiatkowski controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Chancellor pushed their record up to 8-4 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for James Monroe, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.
