Baseball Recap: TEACH Homeschool Takes a Loss

TEACH Homeschool fell victim to Fairfax HomeSchool and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fairfax HomeSchool Hawks. The Beach Breakers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hawks apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

TEACH Homeschool got a good showing from Conner Burcker, who didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched.

On the hitting side, TEACH Homeschool saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Vinny Whitehurst, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

TEACH Homeschool's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

While they had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
