Greenville scored the most points they've had this season on Saturday, but it wasn't enough. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 52-51 to the Georgiana Panthers. The Tigers were not able to make up for their loss to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in January.

Greenville has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Georgiana, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Greenville will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Wilcox Central at 5:45 p.m. on January 2, 2025. Georgiana also won't see the court for a while: their next contest is against Greenville at 4:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025.
