Basketball Recap: Calvary Christian Knights vs. Community Christian Knights
The Calvary Christian Knights can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent contest on Monday. They took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 61-28 victory over Community Christian. With Calvary Christian ahead 43-14 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Makayla Elizabeth reed continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, almost dropping a double-double on 23 points and nine steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Calvary Christian's points. Another player making a difference was Lily Miller, who scored 11 points along with five steals.
Calvary Christian is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season. As for Community Christian, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.
