Volleyball Recap: Dunlap Beats Sycamore for Their Third Straight Victory

Dunlap had won two straight games and Sam Matheny did her part to make it three on Saturday. The Eagles walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Sycamore Spartans with plenty of help from Matheny, who had six blocks, five kills, three digs, and three aces. She is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now had two or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Dunlap's win bumped their record up to 23-9. As for Sycamore, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-13.

Dunlap wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Woodstock North on the 18th. As for Sycamore, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Freeport on the 18th.
