Basketball Game Preview: Mart Panthers vs. Riesel Indians

The Mart Panthers will face off against the Riesel Indians at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mart's defense has only allowed 24.4 points per game this season, so Riesel's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Mart easily dispatched Bruceville-Eddy on Tuesday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. Mart fell just short of Marlin by a score of 26-24 on Friday.

Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Riesel over Chilton in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Riesel blew Chilton out of the water with a 63-27 final score. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 26 points or more this season.

Riesel is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 40.8 points. As for Mart, their loss dropped their record down to 11-6.
