Volleyball Recap: Riverwalk Academy Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Chester, Riverwalk Academy was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Midlands STEM Charter Mavericks. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Lions also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Riverwalk Academy walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 16-25, 25-21, 25-23.

Riverwalk Academy's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Midlands STEM Charter, they dropped their record down to 0-5 with the defeat, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, Riverwalk Academy and Midlands STEM Charter will both be playing Great Falls the next time they take the court. The Lions will host the Red Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Mavericks will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
