Baseball Recap: Snow Canyon Comes Up Short

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Snow Canyon couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell 7-4 to the Crimson Cliffs Mustangs on Saturday. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, with their most recent loss being a 12-8 defeat on Friday.

PJ Hancock was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

This is the second loss in a row for Snow Canyon and nudges their season record down to 23-8. As for Crimson Cliffs, they are on a roll lately: they've won 18 of their last 22 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-8 record this season.

While Snow Canyon had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
