Tareavion Mageo Has Career Rushing Day
Starting off the list is White Oak's Tareavion Mageo, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Friday Mageo rushed for 292 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 13.3 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an incredible 70 yards.
The win was the fifth in a row for White Oak, bringing their record for this year to 6-1. Mageo and White Oak will welcome Dixon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Big Game from Payne As West Carteret Fell 63-42
West Carteret was sadly handed a defeat on Friday, but Tanner Payne did his best to prevent it. Payne was unstoppable, throwing for 403 yards and five touchdowns.
For the season, Payne has thrown 24 touchdowns while averaging 279.3 passing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging seven passing yards per game.

Caleb Simco Dazzles in Richlands Win
Richlands picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Caleb Simco. Simco did his part (and then some), rushing for 230 yards on only nine carries, while also throwing for 117 yards on eight of 15 attempts for the 'W'. Those 230 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.
Richlands' win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0. Simco and Richlands will head out on the road to challenge West Carteret at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Richlands Wins Seventh-Straight Thanks to Semaj Thompson
Semaj Thompson's big game helped extend Richlands's winning streak to seven on Friday. Thompson turned in nothing short of a gem, picking up five sacks and making 11 total tackles.
This year, Thompson has averaged 5.9 total tackles per game and for the season has 6.5 sacks. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he had one sack.

Jasiah Jones Makes It Two for West Carteret
Another West Carteret player making an appearance on this list is Jasiah Jones. He picked up 167 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 65 yards.
Jones must have White Oak's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. When Jones last faced the Vikings back in October of 2023, he picked up 176 receiving yards and a touchdown.
