Goleman is a perfect 10-0 against Hialeah-Miami Lakes since February of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Goleman Gators will face off against the Hialeah-Miami Lakes Trojans at 3:30 p.m. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Goleman has struggled recently with four losses in a row, while Hialeah-Miami Lakes will arrive with four straight victories.

Goleman came up short against Hialeah on Tuesday, falling 16-1.

Goleman saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Olivia Mata, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one RBI. That RBI was Mata's first of the season.

While Hialeah-Miami Lakes didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-11), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They never let Westland Hialeah get on the board and left with a 16-0 win on Monday. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by 15 runs or more this season.

Daniela Castejon made a splash no matter where she played. She pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Castejon was also big at the plate, scoring three runs while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, Isma Viloria was excellent, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2.

Hialeah-Miami Lakes pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 13.8 runs. As for Goleman, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.

Everything went Goleman's way against Hialeah-Miami Lakes in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Goleman made off with a 21-14 win. Will Goleman repeat their success, or does Hialeah-Miami Lakes have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
