Volleyball Recap: Bishop Garrigan Snaps Five-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Bishop Garrigan hadn't done well against Newell-Fonda recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Golden Bears walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Mustangs. For the Golden Bears, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 win the Mustangs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Bishop Garrigan was actually outscored in aggregate across those four sets (89-87), but they still managed to win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-22, 12-25, 25-22.
