Duchesne's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Gunnison Valley Bulldogs by a score of 3-1. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Duchesne walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-14, 18-25, 25-22.

Breklyn Skewes paced Duchesne's offense, picking up ten kills. Skewes got some help from Kira Grant and her 20 assists. Prezley Farnsworth controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Duchesne's win bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Gunnison Valley, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-11.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Duchesne is set to square off against their familiar foe Millard at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Gunnison Valley will challenge rival South Summit at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
