Soccer Game Preview: Corona del Sol vs. Hamilton

The Corona del Sol Aztecs will take on the Hamilton Huskies in a tournament on Friday.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Corona del Sol turned things around against Dobson on Thursday. Both finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw. The result was nothing new for the Aztecs as the squad haven't won a game since December 4th.

Their goal came courtesy of Gael Aragon, who's now up to three this season.

Meanwhile, Hamilton faced Campo Verde in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. Hamilton won by a goal and slipped past Campo Verde 2-1. That's two games straight that the Huskies have won by just one goal.

Hamilton used a slightly different lineup for their bout with Campo Verde. And. Tyson Morse made the most of the opportunity, scoring a goal A few more games like that and he might be seeing even more time going forward.

The win (which was Hamilton's third in a row) raised their record to 6-3. Corona del Sol's draw makes their record 1-5-2 this season.
