Volleyball Recap: Harrison Beats North Arlington for Their Fifth Straight Victory

Harrison won the last time they faced North Arlington and things went their way on Thursday too. The Blue Tide walked away with a 2-0 win over the Vikings. The victory was nothing new for the Blue Tide as they're now sitting on five straight.

While Harrison won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-9, 26-24.

Alaittim Deleon paced Harrison's offense, picking up ten kills. Deleon got some help from Jeremy Rivera and his 24 assists. Rivera was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Harrison's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for North Arlington, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Harrison didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Bayonne on the 11th. As for North Arlington, they are taking a road trip to square off against Garfield at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Boilermakers will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Vikings surely won't give up without a fight.
