Meanwhile, Palatka was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 21-13 hit to the loss column at the hands of Newberry.

The victory made it two in a row for Bradford and bumps their season record up to 5-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 40.5 points over those games. As for Palatka, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

Everything came up roses for Bradford against Palatka in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 41-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tornadoes since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
