Football Recap: Escambia Takes a Loss

Escambia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Pine Forest Eagles, falling 34-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 two weeks ago.

Escambia's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Pine Forest, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-4 record this season.

Escambia wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 6-0 defeat against Northview on the 10th. As for Pine Forest, they will square off against Crestview at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
