Softball Recap: Holliday Extends Home Winning Streak to Five

Holliday won against Lindsay on Monday with six runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Eagles came out on top against the Peaster Greyhounds by a score of 6-2. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Greyhounds: they've now won seven in a row.

Holliday pushed their record up to 18-8-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Peaster, with the loss, they broke their 14-game winning streak and moved their record to 15-9.

Holliday will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Greyhounds: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
