Baseball Recap: Lewis Mills Triumphs

Lewis Mills's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Glastonbury Guardians by a score of 12-9. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Spartans considering their one-run performance the game before.

Lewis Mills' first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Glastonbury, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Coming up, Lewis Mills will head out on the road to take on Stamford at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Black Knights will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Spartans surely won't give up without a fight. As for Glastonbury, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Berlin at 3:45 p.m.
