Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Garfield Heights). They blew past the North Vikings 70-30 on Wednesday. The Bulldogs pushed the score to 58-25 by the end of the third, a deficit the Vikings had no chance of recovering from.

Garfield Heights' victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-1. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 22.7 points per game. As for North, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Garfield Heights will host Shaw at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for North, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against East at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
