Basketball Recap: Dooly County Bobcats vs. Hawkinsville Red Devils

Dooly County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 39-20 bruising from the Hawkinsville Red Devils. The Bobcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Red Devils earlier this season, when they won 38-36.

Despite the defeat, Dooly County saw an underclassman step up: freshman Ja'Kayla Hooks posted four points along with 11 rebounds and five steals. Hooks is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played.
