Softball Recap: Clarence Comes Up Short

Clarence was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Frontier Falcons, falling 8-0. The Red Devils were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Clarence's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Frontier, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-2.

Looking ahead, Clarence will square off against Grand Island at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Red Devils will need to watch out since the Vikings have now posted at least ten runs in their last four games. As for Frontier, they are taking a road trip to face off against Lancaster at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
