Football Recap: Carroll Academy Takes a Loss

Carroll Academy played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the St. Joseph Fighting Irish and fell 48-13. The defeat continues a trend for the Rebels in their meetings with the Fighting Irish: they've now lost four in a row.

Victor Baker continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for St. Joseph, rushing for 83 yards and three scores on only nine carries, while also throwing for 294 yards and three touchdowns. That's the most passing yards Baker has posted since back in August. Kaden Bruce also helped with two TDs in total.

Carroll Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for St. Joseph, their record is now 3-6.

Carroll Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Joseph, they will square off against Greenville Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
