Baseball Recap: Vincent Memorial Comes Up Short

Vincent Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 13-12 heartbreaker at the hands of the Bonsall Legionnaires. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Scots of the 15-4 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Vincent Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Bonsall, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-5.

Coming up, Vincent Memorial will head out to square off against Calipatria at 7:00 p.m. on the 16th. As for Bonsall, they will welcome Liberty Charter at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Legionnaires' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lions have averaged an impressive 12.2 runs per game this season.
