Volleyball Recap: Norton's Win on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Norton extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Alex George. The Lancers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Dighton-Rehoboth Regional Falcons on Wednesday for which the team can thank George, who had ten digs and three aces. He is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had ten or more in each of the last five games he's played.

Norton not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Dighton-Rehoboth Regional between 14 and 16 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-14, 25-16.

Norton's win bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Dighton-Rehoboth Regional, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-10.

Norton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Hopkinton on the 16th. As for Dighton-Rehoboth Regional, they will face off against Medfield at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
