Football Recap: Silas Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Silas extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping them down to 3-3. They were beaten by the Lincoln Abes 47-14. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington football rankings (they are ranked 147th, while the Abes are ranked 22nd).

Oliver Buchanan threw for 76 yards and one touchdown. Jamirie Pringle was his top target, picking up 65 receiving yards and one score.

As for Lincoln, the victory got them back to even at 3-3. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Jadeon Scranton and Immanuel Jordan. Scranton gained 215 total yards while Jordan rushed for 149 yards and a pair of TDs. The dominant performance also gave Jordan a new career-high in rushing touchdowns (two).

Silas didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 25-23 loss against Central Kitsap on the 17th. As for Lincoln, they have also already played their next game, a 42-0 win against Bellarmine Prep on the 17th.
