Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Grace turned things around against Laguna Blanca on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Owls with a sharp 62-37 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Lancers have posted since November 20, 2024.

Meanwhile, Desert Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a blow against Faith Baptist, falling 81-28. Having soared to a lofty 57 points in the game before, the Knights couldn't push the score so high this time.

Despite the defeat, Desert Christian saw an underclassman step up: freshman Joshua Nuzum posted 15 points and five boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Aaden Dragoo, who had five points and five rebounds.

Grace's win bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Desert Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 1-11.
