Centennial is 8-2 against Ironwood since January of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Centennial Coyotes will take on the Ironwood Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Centennial's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Centennial fell victim to Canyon View and their airtight defense on Monday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jaguars. That's two games in a row now that the Coyotes have lost by exactly two goals.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ironwood). They never let Carl Hayden Community onto the board and left with a 12-0 win on Monday. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by three goals or more this season.

Ironwood is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-8-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 22 goals over those four contests. As for Centennial, their loss dropped their record down to 3-8-3.

Centennial took their victory against Ironwood in their previous matchup back in February of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Centennial since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
