Softball Recap: East Union Comes Up Short

East Union lost against Manteca back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lancers lost 9-3 to the Buffaloes. The Lancers' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

East Union saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Fallon Norman, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI.

East Union now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Manteca, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.

East Union will welcome Central Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Raiders will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something the Lancers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Manteca, they will head out to challenge Sierra at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Buffaloes are facing the Timberwolves at the right time seeing as the Timberwolves are stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
