Baseball Recap: Cameron Victorious

Cameron barely beat Ladysmith the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Comets blew past the Lumberjacks 18-7 on Thursday. The Comets not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since May 16, 2025 (when they won 14-2).

Cameron's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Ladysmith, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Coming up, Cameron will square off against Cumberland at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Beavers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.8 runs per game on average), something the Comets will no doubt try to take advantage of.
