Volleyball Recap: Lafayette Now 6-2 over Last Eight Games + How To Watch

The Lafayette Generals got the win against the Estill County Engineers on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0.

Lafayette not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Estill County between 15 and 16 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-16, 25-15.

Audrey Gossett paced Lafayette's offense, picking up ten kills. Gossett got some help from Elise Trimble and her 26 assists. Ruby Strutz controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Lafayette is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-11 record this season. As for Estill County, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-25.

Lafayette didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Newport Central Catholic on the 8th. As for Estill County, they will venture away from home to take on Lee County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
