Manchester came tearing into Tuesday's contest with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the East Jackson Trojans. The Flying Dutchmen have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Trojans, too.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-7, 14-25, 25-11.

Mackenzie Hulswitt paced Manchester's offense, picking up ten kills. Hulswitt were helped by Evelyn St. Charles and Jolene Line, who contributed ten assists each. Hulswitt was also solid from the service line: she led the team with eight aces.

Manchester's win bumped their record up to 20-10-4. As for East Jackson, their loss was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-15.

Manchester didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Chelsea on the 16th. As for East Jackson, after both having extra time off, they and Columbia Central will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
