Soccer Recap: Profile Takes a Loss

The Patriots took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Gorham Huskies on Monday. The loss continues a trend for Profile in their meetings with Gorham: they've now lost five in a row.

Profile's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7-2. As for Gorham, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Profile will challenge Pittsburg at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Profile will be up against Pittsburg's rather soft defense (which has allowed six goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Gorham, they will face off against Moultonborough Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Gorham will need to watch out since Moultonborough Academy have now posted at least four goals in their last four matches.
