            The St. John's Bluejays will head out on the road to  face off against  the Wayne Trace Raiders  at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday. The  teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: St. John's has struggled recently with three losses in a row, while Wayne Trace will arrive with nine straight  wins.
St. John's came into this matchup off a tough ten-run  defeat on Monday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Versailles by a score of  4-2 on Tuesday.
 St. John's saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Cam Elwer, who  went 1-for-3 with two  RBI.
 Meanwhile, Wayne Trace made easy work of Crestview  on Friday and carried off  a  10-3 victory. Considering the Raiders have won nine matches by more than five  runs this season, Friday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Wayne Trace pushed their record up to 15-5 with the  win, which was their fifth straight  on the road. Those  road  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for St. John's, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.
 St. John's couldn't quite get it done against Wayne Trace in their previous matchup  back in April of 2024 as they fell  3-0. Can the Bluejays avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
